 Chelmsford Quaker Meeting House |
This Meeting has its own premises, the address for which is: The Religious Society of Friends Chelmsford Quakers hold their meeting here at 10:30 each Sunday morning. A Childrens' Meeting is held on the fourth Sunday of each month. The Meeting House is located at the junction of Rainsford Road and the Parkway dual carriageway. It has a small car park at the side, which has spaces for a maximum of 11 cars. This can be accessed from the front or the rear. The rear access, via Cedar Avenue West has gates which are normally locked. There are several car parks nearby. These are shown, together with the position of the Meeting House (red dot), on the adjacent map. More detailed directions can be found here . There are three entrances to the Meeting House: through the front double doors; through the side door from the car park (this has a ramp for ease of access); and through the wheelchair access door at the rear of the building. This latter entrance is approached from the car park through the gate into the garden. The Meeting House has two rooms available for hire. There is a large hall which can hold up to 100 people, and a smaller meeting room, which can accomodate up to 20 people.
